Latifa bint Mohammed Graces Conclusion of Dhai Dubai Art Lights Festival
Dubai witnessed a spectacular culmination as Her Highness Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairperson of Dubai Culture and Arts Authority (Dubai Culture), honored the closing ceremony of the inaugural Dhai Dubai Art festival. Held at Expo City Dubai and orchestrated in collaboration with AGB Creative, the festival illuminated the cityscape with its radiant displays and vibrant cultural offerings.
In a display of Emirati excellence, Dhai Dubai Art festival unfolded over a captivating 10-day period, concluding on February 4th. The event, supported by Dubai Culture, showcased an array of dazzling light installations, interactive art pieces, engaging workshops, and insightful discussions. Its essence lay in celebrating the spirit of cultural exploration and creative synergy.
Throughout her visit, Her Highness engaged fervently with Emirati artists and designers, commending their remarkable contributions to the global artistic landscape. She underscored the festival’s role as a platform for nurturing local talent while showcasing Dubai and the UAE’s cultural richness to the world.

Looking ahead, Her Highness announced the eagerly anticipated second edition of Dhai Dubai, scheduled for January 26th to February 4th, 2025. Dhai Dubai Art festival spotlighted the exceptional talents of Emirati artists and designers, including luminaries such as Matar bin Lahej, Dr. Najat Makki, Dr. Mohamed Yousef, Abdulla Almulla, Maitha Hamdan, Khalid Al Shafar, and Reem Al Ghaith. Their contributions underscored the festival’s commitment to celebrating homegrown talent while fostering international collaboration.
Beyond its artistic endeavors, the festival also embraced Dubai’s spirit of humanitarianism.
