Ahlam Denies Theft Incident in Paris and Mocks the News
The renowned Emirati artist Ahlam has taken a humorous jab at the reports suggesting her involvement in a theft incident in Paris, which has been circulating across various media platforms and social networks since yesterday, Monday, refuting the claims entirely.
Dismissing the Allegations
News of her alleged theft in the French capital during her attendance at Paris Fashion Week has been making rounds, marking the second instance of such claims, following a similar incident back in 2016 when she reported the theft of a “Rolex” watch worth €100,000 along with a precious sapphire.
The items purportedly stolen this time included two bags containing jewelry and clothing valued at €100,000, disappearing from the residence she was staying at in the upscale “Passy” area overlooking the Eiffel Tower.
Ahlam stated that she had lodged a complaint, explaining that she had unloaded her luggage on the ground floor multiple times to bring in more bags. However, upon her return, she realized her bags were missing. Authorities are now working to identify the perpetrator through surveillance cameras in the residential building, which is under strict security.
Setting the Record Straight
Ahlam broke her silence to put an end to the circulating false news through media outlets and social media platforms, clarifying that she had been in Switzerland for the past two days after attending Paris Fashion Week. The alarming news prompted her family to reach out to her to ensure her safety.
In a post on her “X” platform account, Ahlam mocked the fake news and playfully expressed her desire to retrieve the bag, saying, “They claim Ahlam’s bag was stolen??? They mean me??? I’m not even in Paris, I’ve been in Switzerland for two days… Anyway, I want the bag even if… with a hundred thousand euros, I can shop in Switzerland… Thank you, my darlings, I love youuuu, you scared my poor family, their hearts flew away.”
